Thrifty Finds

Mr. Tee and I enjoy browsing the local thrift shops for household items. He likes to look for computer-type things, while I'm more inclined to purchase linens and kitchen goods. Saturdays are especially good for thrifting because all things older than a week or so are 50% off.

Here are a few things I've found recently:

Pyrex Bowl Yellow
Yellow Pyrex Bowl

Pyrex Bowl Purple Dots
Purple Dot Pyrex Bowl (my fav find last weekend)

Marimekko Bedsheet
Twin Size Marimekko Bedsheet (I didn't even realize it was Marimekko until I was in the car - but it made sense that I liked it just for its timeless style.)

Knitter's Handbook
Reader's Digest Knitter's Handbook by Montse Stanley - Hardcover (Who doesn't need a copy of this book? I love that it's hardcover.)

Happy Tuesday!

Oh boy! Another person who loves to buy kitchen items at a thrift store! I thought I was the only one! I have this thing about tiny glasses of different shapes. I have about 15 on the windowsill above my kitchen sink. I look for craft things but all they ever have are remnants of yarn or ripped afghans. But I keep looking! You, too!
