Happy Easter!
I decided to make good use of the Easter holiday by finishing my socks.

Pattern: 3 x 3 Cable with Moss Stitch from Sensational Knitted Socks
Yarn: 1 oversized skein (470 yds) Cherry Tree Hill Supersock in Navy
Needles: Susan Bates' Silvalume DPNs Size 1
Recipient: Me
Notes: These socks fit perfectly. The yarn I used also gets a thumbs up. It's twisted tightly and did not split at all. The dense fabric I created feels like it will hold up for a long time. I would definitely use CTH again. Though I have to admit it's not as springy as Koigu.
Bloggy Notes:
I want to apologize for not responding to the many wonderful comments I've received in the past couple weeks. If you're a Blogger user, did you know that when you switch to new Blogger, your email address no longer shows up on your comments? This means that I can't reply to you from your comment. I suppose I could leave you a reciprocal comment on your blog, but I'd much prefer to send you a short note by email. Wouldn't this be better?
You can remedy this problem by editing your profile. Just click the box that says "Show my email address." This way people can hit reply to the email Blogger sends announcing your comment. Make sense?

Beautiful socks! The look like they fit you perfectly!
Hey! I'm a law school knitter too, and things have pretty much ground to a halt. I have two projects in boxes on my floor that are waiting for April 29. I dont have a real blog but have my things on flickr...

Very nice! the yarn really shows off the pattern well.
The socks are lovely! I'm gonna have to try that yarn.
such pretty pics on your blog. I'm interested in your silky wool on destash, but when i clicked the email me part, it just linked to your blog. If you've not sold it yet, email me please and I'd love it!

Thanks for the heads up on the email thing with the new blogger. I had switched over but I didn't realize that I had to recheck "show email." ;) Your socks turned out beautifully! Great job.
Beautiful Socks!!!!
and thanks for the info on the profile thing - I feel the same way you do - I'd much rather write a quick email that is an actual response to the comment... I didn't realize that was a setting you could change, though!
off to switch my profile...
