I think I hit the Secret Pal jackpot
Look at these fantastic goodies my Knitty SP sent me last week. I know...last week - things have been hell at school. I know how you felt being busy with work SP. It's very wearing isn't it?
Anywho, imagine how much better I felt to know that someone across the country was thinking about me and my knitterly needs.
First, I read this adorable card. It has sheep on it. Aww, sweet don't you think?

Then I opened this great sock yarn. It's a skein of On Linie Supersocke 100 - Highland Color. It's lovely. I'm glad the accent color is black because I recently ordered a pair of black mary jane Danskos that I think will coordinate quite well.

My Secret Pal is an artist of many talents people. She can paint:

It's painted knitting!
And she can knit:

This scarf is the perfect length for me - no small task when you're 6'0 tall.
Finally, no knitting is complete without a bit of chocolate. I firmly believe this and I'm sure you agree.

There were 4 big luscious chocolates, but I ate one immediately. Self-control is not one of my greatest strengths.
Thank you very much Secret Pal!

I have made a fair amount of progress on my navy socks. I finished the first one quite some time ago and am almost to the heel on the second. Depending on my motivation, you may, or may not, see a picture soon.

It looks as if you have a wonderful secret pal!!! The scarf is beautiful. And I would have eaten all four chocolates in one sitting because I'm bad that way.
I love the knitted painting (or is it painted knitting?)- so cool.
How you had enough self control to only eat one chocolate is beyond me. You're way stronger than me :)
It's a good thing I had the woman at the shop with the chocolate box them up and seal them. I think otherwise you might've only gotten three. :D Glad you like the painting and the scarf! Have a very happy weekend! -- sp4kaitie
Loving that scarf - and envying your inches. A great secret pal, indeed!
Hope you've enjoyed the chocs for all of us, they look wonderful.
